Hello Readers

The Rhythmic Grasshopper is my home now, as I mentioned in my letter, and I am Tusha, the author of this website. I came up with this name for my social media handles about five years back. Since then, I have been dreaming of owning this name and making it shine brighter forever. The name wasn't born on a day suddenly. There is a deep-down thought behind the name. Whenever I think about it, I feel beautiful. Let me share the details with you here.

Music has always been an integral part of my life. My mother was an incredible Rabindrasangeet singer, who never failed to touch a single note mentioned in Swarlipis (song notations). Her mother, my grandmother, was also a master of classical music. Automatically, music flows through my blood. While growing up, I observed them singing, and over time, I discovered that rhythm is crucial for any song or musical instrument. Rhythm makes a melody merrier. And if we think about the human heart, then it beats in a rhythm. So, our lives are aligned with rhythm. Not only with the rhythm of the heart, but also with the rhythm of the universe. Life isn't stagnant. It has its ups and downs, it has its rise and fall, and those for me have their own rhythm. Thus, rhythm had to be a part of the name.

Now comes the reason behind the term "Grasshopper". When I started researching for the name, I wanted to keep a bird's name or something that is closely associated with the earth. After searching for various terms, Grasshopper caught my attention because it symbolises "Leap of Faith". Since grasshoppers jump forward and never look backwards, they are the spiritual symbol of making progress, growth and positivity with good fortune. And when it comes to the "Leap of Faith", it depicts courage, which has been a significant aspect of my life. Therefore, the term "Grasshopper" found its space in the name.
